Hello everyone, as promised here's the list of needs the kids will need for
their movie, which will be shot next Wed/Thurs/Fri (but actors will most
likely only be needed for one of those days respectively)
Auditions will be in Schenectady at an address issued to those who RSVP this
email. Monday between 10:30-11:45 by appointment.
*MAD HACKER/CRIMINAL GENIUS - MALE - 20s/30s* - On the outside he seems to
be a mastermind in a secret lair, but is in fact in his mother's basement.
*HACKER'S SUPERSKILLED ASSISTANT - FEMALE - 20s* - Is underappreciated by
her Criminal Genius friend...and may not exist in reality anyhow!
*HYSTERICAL MOTHER - FEMALE - 30s/40s* - Mom of a 10 yr-old boy (the
protagonist) - discovers her son and daughter have been whisked away by
technology!
*"MINDLESS TECHNOLOGY ZOMBIES" - Kids aged 5 to 9* - become entranced by
their DS's or iPods and wander aimlessly through the city.
More roles may come up between now and Monday (their writing session is
heavy tomorrow) but these are the primary roles.
Please RSVP to this email address if you're interested. It was a fun time
last year, the kids directed many local and regional actors, and their final
piece screened at the National Film Festival For Talented Youth (which was
just gifted a $10k grant in the presence of Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark
Wahlberg, Gerard Butler, Kevin Bacon and Taylor Lautner) and on WMHT's
"TVFilm" program - it will also screen at the Ballston Spa Film Festival
this Friday, and the kids will arrive in a limousine!
Thank you!
Mike Feurstein
