[Capdist-auditions] GALWAY YOUTH THEATRE PRESENTS AUDITIONS FOR "OLIVIA"

The Galway Youth Theatre  will hold auditions for its November production 
of "Olivia" by Malcolm Sircom  and directed by Ann Kempf in the Galway High 
School auditorium on NYS Rte. 147  on September 11, 2011 at 1 p.m.  "Olivia" 
is a female version of the  Dickens story "Oliver".  Students going into 3rd 
grade  through 12th grade are welcome to audition and all will be offered a 
place in  the show.
   


    In addition to an  unlimited number of chorus members, there are 21 
speaking  roles including other characters from British  literature.  No 
tuition is charged for this opportunity.   Depending on cast size, a "costume 
cleaning" fee may be charged to a maximum  of $10.00 per family.
     


  The production will be staged on November 19 and 20, 2011  and attendance 
at rehearsal each Sunday is mandatory.  If an absence  is unavoidable, 
early notice and discussion with the production team is  required.  The Director 
reserves full discretion to make changes in the  cast due to absence at 
rehearsals.
