The Albany Aqua Ducks and Trolleys are looking for local actors to play
character roles for our interactive and historic tours.  No experience
necessary and all ages accepted. (Children are welcome but must be
accompanied by an adult)

Must be engaging, energetic and have a great sense of humor.  Your own car
preferred.  The Albany Aqua Ducks can provide minor make up and costume
pieces, but actors are welcome and encouraged to bring their own costume
pieces as well.  Great opportunities for child actors, retirees and actors
with a sense of humor who like to have fun.

The Tours and Dates are as Follows: (more dates possible to follow)

*Albany Pirate Tour* (September 10th & 25th)

Henry Hudson's mutinous pirates are cursed to roam the lands of the Hudson
Valley, never to be reunited with their beloved waters again.  However, they
have recently heard word of a magic boat that can traverse on Land and on
Water.  If stolen, they can return once again to the water they crave. Mad
Molly and Crazy Kathy are leading the crew of this mysterious Aqua Duck
boat. As they search Albany for treasure, they must teach their young
travelers how to be fearsome pirates in order to scare away Henry's blood
thirsty pirate crew.

Looking for: Actors to play Henry's cursed pirates.  Actors will be going to
different areas of the city, where they will sneak up on the boat and try to
steal it for themselves.  They will steal the Duck's treasured pirate flag
and hold it for ransom, taunting the crew along the way.  The audience is
made up of children ages 4-11.  At the end, actors pose for pictures with
the children.

Actors of any age welcome, but children must have an adult.

*Albany Historic Trolley Ghost Tour* (Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays in
October)

A guide on the vehicle is giving an historic tour of some of the most famous
ghost stories in Albany.

Looking For: Zombies!  Similar to the pirate tour, Zombies will be
strategically placed around various locations around the city.  At times,
they will be hungry and pounce upon the trolley.  Some times they stare
menacingly across the street. Picture the "Night of the Living Dead meets
Albany, NY."   There will also be moments of history that come to life on
significant Albany streets.

Potential to play featured ghost roles such as notorious bootlegger Leggs
Diamond, his show girl girlfriend Kiki Roberts or murderer Jesse Strang.

Audience will be made up of various ages and actors will adjust the scare
factor depending on the age.

 Actors of any age welcome, but children must have an adult.
