-Two people meet for the first time in a café.

Bill (Male, mid-20s)

Betty (Female, mid-20s)

*Variations on the Death of Trotsky*
-Eight variations of the last moments in Leon Trotsky’s life after being
stabbed in the skull with a mountain climber’s ax.
 Trotsky (Male, 40s-60s)
Mrs. Trotsky (Female, 40s-60s)
Ramon (Male, 30s-50s)

*English Made Simple*
Two people meet at a party for the first time and run through the basics of
human communication.
Jack (Male, 20s-30s)
 Jill (Female, 20s-30s)
Loudspeaker Voice (Male or Female, any age)

*The Philadelphia*
Two men meet to discuss Mark’s very bad day.
Mark (Male, 20s-40s)
Al (Male, 20s-40s)
 Waitress (Female, any age)

Be prepared for cold-readings.

Rehearsals will begin in mid-February
Performance Dates: April 7-9
Performances will be at The Arts Center of the Capital Region in Troy

Directions to Audition space:
-Take Northway to exit 5, Route 155. Head east toward Route 9.
-You will pass a post office on the left, about 1/4 mile. Continue on
through one light to Florence Drive. Turn right.
-At the stop sign go left up a steep driveway.
-At the end go straight ahead. The clubhouse is on the left. (If you miss
it, you can circle the complex and come back to the clubhouse.)
-Park along the right hand side of the road if necessary. The clubhouse is
the only one story building in the complex.

For GPS, use 626 Watervliet Shaker Road, Latham, 12110. (Florence Drive is
relatively new.)
