Curtain Call Theatre (Latham, NY) will be holding auditions for their
upcoming production of

 

"The Diary of Anne Frank"

 

by Francis Goodrich and Albert Hackett, newly adapted by Wendy Kesselman,
and directed by Steve Fletcher.

 

Location:          Curtain Call Theatre, 210 Old Loudon Rd, Latham, NY 12110

Date:                Sunday, July 10, 2011

Time:               6:30pm

 

Rehearsals: Will start in early September, 2011

Performance Dates: Oct 21 - Nov 19th, 2011 (performances are Thu at 7:30pm,
Fri & Sat at 8pm, Sun at 3pm) 

 

There is no need to make an appointment. Sides will be available at the
audition. Please bring a picture and resume (attached), if you have them.

All roles available EXCEPT the role of Mr. Dussel.

 

Anne Frank - a Jewish girl in her early teenage years, very outspoken, and
wants to be a writer (12).

 

Otto Frank - a Jewish businessman, Anne and Margot's father, modest and
quiet (40-50).

 

Edith Frank - mother of the girls, Anne finds her cold and often
condescending (40-50).

 

Margot Frank - Anne's well-behaved older sister, quieter and more serious
than Anne, in her late teens (16).

 

Miep Gies - a Dutch woman and former employee of Otto Frank, who is the
annex resident's link to the outside world, cheerful (25-35).

 

Peter Van Daan - son of Mr. and Mrs. Van Daan, Anne's eventual love
interest, shy and extremely awkward (16).

 

Mr. Kraler - a Dutch Gentile, former employee of Mr. Frank (35-60).

 

Mrs. Van Daan - mother of Peter, selfish and interfering (40-50).

 

Mr. Van Daan - a Jewish business associate of Mr. Frank, father of Peter,
critical of Anne (40-50).

 

First Man (20s-40s)

Third Man (20s-40s)
