[Capdist-auditions] Youth Auditions This Weekend - Fee Required

[Park Playhouse]

Park Playhouse will be holding auditions for their Park Playhouse II and new Park Playhouse Kids summer youth theatre education programs the weekend of March 19-20, 2011.

Park Playhouse II is seeking students ages 13-18 for the summer session, featuring a production of THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE Jr. on our stage in Washington Park. The program will begin on July 11 and conclude August 14, 2011. 

Park Playhouse Kids is seeking students ages 9-12 for the summer session, featuring a production of ANNIE Jr. in Washington Park. This new program will begin on July 5 and conclude on July 31, 2011. 

Park Playhouse's summer youth programs are designed to provide workshops to students in a broad range of theatre disciplines. Students will also rehearse and perform a full-scale musical in our 2,500 seat venue in Washington Park. Rehearsals/Workshops are held for three weeks, Monday through Friday from 9:00am - 4:00pm. Tuition for the program is $600 per student. Tuition assistance is available, and ability to pay is not taken into account during the audition process.

Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 10:00am – 3:00pm (Sign-In closes at 1:30pm)
Callbacks: Sunday, March 20, 2011 starting at 4:00pm.

Audition Times for Park Playhouse Kids' ANNIE
Saturday, March 19, 2011 from 4:00 – 8:00 (Sign-In closes at 6:30pm)
Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 10:00 – 3:00 (Sign-In closes at 1:30pm)
Callbacks: Sunday, March 20, 2011 starting at 4:00pm

What to Prepare
Any 16-Bar Cut from any Broadway musical. An accompanist will be provided, please bring sheet music. 
Please be prepared to dance a short combination which will be taught at the audition.
