[Capdist-auditions] Auditions for "London Suite" at the Colonial Little Theatre

The Colonial Little Theatre in Johnstown will hold auditions for Neil Simon's "London Suite" April 4 & 5 at 7 p.m. at the theatre, which is located at 1 Colonial Court.  Address any questions to director John Birchler at johnbirchler311 at yahoo.com.

There are roles for 3-6 males and 2-6 females.  (Doubling is possible.)  Dialects are required of several characters.  There are four vignettes in the show.  Here are pertinent details about the characters in each:

“Settling Accounts”



Brian: successful writer, about 50, Irish or British 

Billy: Brian’s financial manager, about 50, British 
“Going Home”



Lauren: 31, American

Mrs. Semple: mid-50s, mother of Lauren, American
“Diana & Sidney”



Diana: about 50, prim, British

Grace: Diana’s secretary, mid-30s, dresses plainly,
British or American

Sidney: mid-50s, fit, tan, dresses smartly, British
“The Man on the Floor”



Mark: husband, flexible age, American

Annie: wife, flexible age, American

Mrs. Sitgood: associate hotel manager, flexible age,
Scottish

Bellman: flexible age, British

Dr. McMerlin: flexible age, Irish
