grades 6-12:

 

Musical Theatre Intensive 

We are offering an exceptional theatre training opportunity in October at
Saratoga Children's Theatre!

This program will feature in-depth acting, singing and dancing training
along with individual critiques to help young performers achieve their full
potential. 

12 hours of focused group and individual work that is sure to help any young
performer advance to the next level and help gain a professional edge in
their development. 

Theatre Professionals who are both performers and educators will be teaching
this class and have a great deal of experience and expertise to share. Space
is limited to 16 performers so please register soon to reserve a spot.  

 

Performers will work on:

Acting:  Learn how to find and/or prepare a monologue.

Singing: Learn how to find and/or prepare a song.

Dancing: Learn what to expect at a dance audition and how to best prepare
yourself.

Group performances: Learn a short scene from a Broadway musical and perform
it!

 

Building confidence in yourself and your abilities as an aspiring performer!

Not ready for the spotlight? There is very limited space for those wishing
to audit this class: 5 students (Reduced rate)

(Those auditing the class will simply be observing and not participating in
class performances)

For those who want to learn more about theatre but not ready to put this
knowledge into practice yet, we recommend that you audit this class.

**All students should bring a notebook, pencil, water/drink and a snack.
Dance shoes or sneakers will also be needed for a dance day.**
