Classics @ the Point Theatre Ensemble is seeking talented actors for a highly staged reading of an original play, "Sebal's Star," by Joseph Capone, Artistic Director.
"Sebal's Star" is about Sybil Ludington, the female Paul Revere, who, at the age of sixteen, on April 26, 1777, rode her horse (Star) forty miles to warn 400 troops in New York State that the British were burning down the City of Danbury, CT., and that the British were on their way to New York State to do the same.
Needed are four woman, a young girl, and two men. Actors with a great emotional range are needed and are capable of playing within a collaborative ensemble environment. All actors will double in their roles at one point or another. Reading will be presented in November 2011.

Young Man " " " 20 to 35
Mature Man " " " 40 to 60
Auditions will take place at Columbia Greene Community College, Hudson, New York.
