*Synopsis*:
The Modern Day Music's Rock School Music Academy is the place for people of
all ages to learn how to rock. The plot of the commercial involves young
Timmy
and his mother Susan arguing about what musical instrument to learn. Timmy
wants to learn to play his favorite music, but Susan simply doesn't
understand.
Meanwhile her other son Steve and his "Air Band" show what happens when you
don't learn to actually play any instrument...

*Character Bios:*

[TIMMY] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 10-12]

Timmy is a young boy who just wants to rock. He is in school and has been
asked which instrument he would like to play. Timmy is disinterested in the
choices presented and wants to learn to play the music he loves and not be
forced into the accordion.

[SUSAN] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 35-45]

Susan is a "June Cleaver" style mom of modern day suburbia. She wants the
best for her son but is a bit removed from modern music and the interests of
young people. An ever enthusiastic Mom of two she wants her son to be
involved
but can't grasp that he might be interested in playing an instrument that
isn't on
the official musical instrument list from the school.

[STEVE] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 16-20]

Steve is the other son of Susan who never picked an instrument in
school.Even
though he has no musical ability, he still thinks that he rocks and has the
greatest
band ever. They don't play anything but they all play Air instruments led by
Steve
the singer. Hyper-animated and pompous as all get out, Steve is the rock
star
that never was....just don't tell him that.

[RONA] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 16-20]

Rona is the Air Guitar Player of Steve's band. A punk rock princess, she is
very animated and loves to shred...kinda.

[MICHELLE] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 16-20]

Michelle is Bass Player in the Air Band. A bluesy, artsy kind of girl she
plays in a jazzy way and her ever cool disposition offsets the fact that she
isn't actually playing...not really.

[SPECIAL K] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 16-20]

Special K is the drummer of the Air Band. He is a powerhouse of a
drummer with excess rock energy. He lives hard and plays harder he is the
metal head of the group.

[JACKSON] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 16-20]

Jackson is the rhythm guitar player who is from a different time period. He
is
straight out of the 1970s and dresses in super vibrant colors. He has a
super
excited and incredibly happy demeanor and his kicks rival even the best high
school cheerleaders.

*(Extras will also be cast to interact with the airband during their "gig"
in
downtown Saratoga as well as other children and parents populating the
Rock School Studio as well.)*
