Stage Manager (non-Union) Needed for Capital Rep's STAR Program

Capital Repertory Theatre is looking for an organized, energetic, fun, local
stage manager - able to think outside the box  - for their STAR (Summer
Theatre at The Rep) 2012 Program.  

The stage manager is responsible for:
*	Typical Stage Management Duties
*	Keeping all information regarding the STAR 2012 project organized
and up to date, as a prompt book to be given to Capital Rep at the end of
the program.  
*	Creating and emailing daily rehearsal reports for the
artistic/production staff.
*	Helping to keep students motivated throughout the day.

Knowledge of theatre, past stage management experience as well as working
with students a plus!

STAR is a five week (full-day) Summer Theatre Intensive for ages 12-16.  The
program allows up to 35 area youth the opportunity to explore the world of
theatre.  Students work with professional artists to develop their own
original work, gaining skills in writing, costume and set design, movement,
acting and singing.  Participants learn to work cooperatively with each
other and with professional staff - right in the theatre.  STAR 2012
participants will create an original 45-minute musical theatre presentation
that celebrates each individual's uniqueness and what we can accomplish when
we all work together.  The program culminates in a series of performances
offered free to the community.

This is a paid position.

PROGRAM DATES/TIMES:
July 2 - Aug 5, 2012 (with NO activities on July 4) 8:30am -4:30pm
[August 3, 4 & 5, 2012 are the performance dates]
