The Ghent Playhouse announces auditions for
Lettice and Lovage By Peter Shaffer
Directed by Tom Detwiler
 
Enlarge! Enliven! Enlighten! As docent at Fustian Hall, “the dullest house in England”
Lettice Douffet employs “the three Es” to give visitors the memorable tour they deserve.
But when fiction and fact collide, heads will roll.
 
Audition dates: Wednesday and Thursday evenings December 19 and 20
Sign in at 6:30 p.m. at the Ghent Playhouse, Town Hall Place off Route 66 in Ghent, NY.   No calls please.

Rehearsals will begin in early January.           

 

These auditions are for the three principal roles:

Lettice Douffet – middle-aged – naturally theatrical, exuberant and a passionate student of all things Tudor.

 

Lotte Schoen – also middle-aged – the no-nonsense, by the book personnel department boss of the London-based Preservation Trust.

 

Mr. Bardolph – a middle-aged lawyer. Dry and professional.

 

Performance dates are Friday March 15 Jthrough Sunday, March 31, 2013,
