Curtain Call Theatre (Latham, NY) is holding auditions for their upcoming
production of

 

"Opus"

 

by Michael Hollinger, directed by Carol Max and Barbara Richards

Rehearsals: Start late February 2012

Performance Dates: April 13th through May 12th, 2012 (Thu 7:30pm, Fri & Sat
8pm, Sun 3pm) 

 

Sides will be available at the audition.

Please bring a picture and resume (attached), if you have them.

The following roles are available:

 

Elliot (Male, 40s, First Violin) - controlling, acerbic.

 

Alan (Male, 40s, Second violin) - easygoing, divorced.

 

Dorian (Male, 40s, Viola) - both an emotionally unstable man and a musical
genius.

 

Carl (Male, 40s, Cello) - quiet, intense family man.

 

NOTE: Actors DO NOT have to know how to play their instruments, but a strong
feeling for music would be helpful. From the Author's Notes: "attention to
correct posture and bowing form is essential in order to render the illusion
that these musicians are masters in their field."
