[Park Playhouse]

UPDATE - For students auditioning for Park Playhouse II and Park Playhouse Kids on Sunday, March 18, auditions have been moved. Due to funeral arrangements for Sr. Connie of The Academy of The Holy Names, auditions will be held starting at 5:30pm at The Washington Park Lakehouse (Madison Ave. at New Scotland Ave.).

Audition Information
Auditions will be held Sunday, March 18, 2012 from 5:30 - 9:30pm (sign-in closes at 8:30)
Auditions will be held at The Washington Park Lakehouse
Callbacks will be held, as needed, following each group of auditioners.
Please prepare and bring sheet music for 16 bars of any song from a Broadway musical.
Accompanist will be provided. Singing a cappella will not be allowed.
A short dance combination will be taught following each group of auditioners.

Program Information
Park Playhouse II and Park Playhouse Kids are summer youth-theatre intensives, designed to give young artists the tools they need to succeed in scholastic, collegiate and professional theatre. In addition to rehearsing a full-scale musical production and performing it on our Park stage, students gain valuable experience through workshops drawn from all areas of the theatre profession. 
This season, Park Playhouse II will perform a feature presentation at night on the Washington Park stage. The production will be the Broadway hit HAIRSPRAY.
Park Playhouse Kids will present JOSEPH & THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT
Park Playhouse II runs July 9 through August 19, while Park Playhouse Kids runs July 16 through August 19. 
Tuition for the 2012 session of Park Playhouse Kids will be $800.00. There is a $100 discount if full payment is made by July 1.
Tuition assistance by scholarship is available. Ability to pay is not considered in any way during the casting process.
