[Capdist-auditions] Auditions this week! Round Lake Summer Youth Theatre Program (Fee Required)

Carpe Diem Productions will once again be producing a show this summer at The Round Lake Auditorium with a new addition for younger children.

We are proud to present the Carpe Diem Kids program open to Capital District children entering grades 3-5.  This program will run on Thursdays and Fridays in July and Monday-Friday during "tech week" with a final production of Disney's The Aristocats Kids the weekend of August 3-4.  See attachment for more thorough details.

We are also pleased to announce the return of the Round Lake Summer Stars, open to Capital District children entering grades 6-10.  This program runs Monday-Wednesday in July and all week long during tech week.  The Summer Stars will also do a talent showcase during the final week of the production for a chance to be in the spotlight alone and perform for their peers.  This year's production will be Honk Jr.  Please see attachment for more details.

Auditions will be held at The Round Lake Auditorium on May 22 and 23.  Children need only attend one of the evenings for auditions.  An accompanist will be on hand for the vocal audition.  Children should come prepared with their application, head shot, and music.  There is limited space for both programs.

The two shows will be presented to the public as a double feature opening with Disney's The Aristocats Kids, followed by a brief intermission, and then Honk Jr. on August 3 and 4.
