          "THREE TALL WOMEN"

              Directed by Joseph Fava 

 

   -- Tuesday, November 13, and Thursday, November 15 -



 

Schenectady Civic Players  proudly announce auditions for Edward Albee's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, Three Tall Women. 



    o Tuesday and Thursday, November 13 and 15.



    o Tryouts will take place at The Playhouse 12 South Church St. in Schenectady's historic Stockade district. 



    o Sign-ups start at 7:15 p.m.  Readings commence at 7:30 p.m.



    o Production dates are January 25 through February 3, 2013. 



    o Roles for 3 women ranging in ages from mid-twenties to elderly. 



In Act One, a young lawyer, "C," has arrived at the home of a client, an elderly woman, "A," to sort out her finances. "A" is frail, a bit senile, and is of no help to "C" or the old woman's paid caretaker, "B."  In Act Two, we begin to realize that "C" is actually "A" as she was at age twenty-six and that "B" is the same woman in middle-age.  Memories and reminiscences are now examined and questioned, and, at last, understood . Three Tall Women was the winner of the 1994 Pulitzer Prize for drama.
