Fall  2012  Session   -  Auditions   &   Monologues

Back by popular demand, this fall’s session of The Park Playhouse Workshop will focus on techniques for successful auditions in the scholastic, collegiate & professional theatre. Group sessions focusing on selection of material, preparation for auditions and the best methods for presenting your material will be held on October 4, 11 & 18 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at The Academy of The Holy Names on New Scotland Avenue in Albany. Each student will also receive a private half-hour coaching on monologues or songs of their choice for use in future auditions. Additional private coaching is available. Join us and hone your skills at that most important of techniques for success in the theatre... AUDITIONING!

Age Range: Students ages 9 & Up are encouraged to enroll.

Instructor: This fall’s session will be taught by Park Playhouse Producing Artistic Director, Owen Smith. Owen has worked with students extensively through the Park Playhouse II and Kids programs and is a member of the Theatre Arts faculty at SUNY New Paltz. 

Tuition: $300. Discount of $50 for full payment by September 21, 2012.
