Auditions for a Studio Cast Recording of
*The Wrong Box*
By: Kit Goldstein; Music Director: Barret Germain; Pianist: Maria Elmer
A musical black comedy based on the farce by Robert Louis Stevenson and
Lloyd Osbourne.
*Audition Date:* 7 pm, Monday, September 24.
*Location*: Schenectady Theater for Children’s studio at the Rotterdam
Square Mall, near Sears. 93 W Campbell Road, Schenectady, NY.
If you cannot make it to auditions but would like to be part of the CD,
contact Kit at NewClassicMusicals at gmail.com for an appointment.
Bring a non-rock musical theater comedy song and a ballad that show off
your comedic talents and singing range. *Bring sheet music* - an
accompanist will be provided. Even though only songs and minimal dialogue
will be recorded, you may be asked to read from the script. Not required,
but if you can do a British accent, we would like to hear it!
*** Bring a list of any conflicts through December to auditions. ***
*Rehearsals:* Monday & Wednesday evenings, beginning October 1.
*Recording:* Late November – December, probably over a weekend. Bring all
weekend conflict information to auditions.
*Compensation*: $50 & a completed CD for lead singers. Completed CD for
chorus singers.
