Performing
SmArts is seeking a high school or college student (male) to play one of the
three roles in The Complete World of Sports (Abridged).  This student will be paired with two
professional performers and a professional director.  Students interested may either prepare a
one-minute comedic monologue or may read from the script.  In addition, some auditioners may be asked to
perform some basic improv or be asked to read from the script.  This is a terrific opportunity to learn and
grow as a performer and have some fun in the process!

Synopsis:  Three men.  100 minutes. 
Every sport in the history of mankind.

Whether
you love sports or hate sports, this show is for you!  The Complete World of Sports (Abridged) is an
audience-interactive, family-friendly show for all ages, “blending slapstick,
sight gags, hernia-inducing puns, and genuine verbal wit.”  

 

The
local bad boys of abridgement are back! 
Members of this production team brought to life The Complete Works of
William Shakespeare (Abridged), The Complete History of America (Abridged), The
Bible: The Complete Word of God (Abridged), All The Great Books (Abridged) and
Completely Hollywood (Abridged).  Helmed
by Equity Actor Brian Sheldon, and including master abridgers Eric Shovah and Brian
Avery – this show is sure to be a homerun!
