PITTSFIELD, MA (02/18/13)— Producers WAM Theatre and The Mop & Bucket
Improv Company (MopCo) are delighted to announce the 3rd Annual 24hr
Berkshires/Capital Region Theatre Project will take place on May 17 and 18
at Proctors GE Theater in Schenectady, NY, with a public performance taking
place at 8pm on Saturday, May 18.

The 24hr Theatre Project brings together over 50 theatre artists from both
the Berkshires and the Capital Region to mount 5 short works by women
playwrights; all of the works are written, rehearsed, and performed in 24
Hours.

WAM Theatre and MOPCO invite interested theatre artists to submit a resume
and headshot (if applicable) to *kelly at wamtheatre.com* by *March 1, 2013* with
‘2013 24hr Project’ in the subject line.

Playwrights, Actors, Directors, Designers, Stage Managers, and Technicians
are all invited to express interest. Preference will be given to those who
have not participated in the 24hr Project before or who have only
participated once as well as artists with professional experience. Equity
members are invited to submit interest and are able to participate in the
project via an Equity Waiver.

“The 24hour Theatre Project has been an incredibly exciting collaborative
experience for artists in the Berkshires and the Capital Region, and has
really resonated and been popular with audiences,” says Kat Koppett,
Co-Director of the Mop & Bucket Company. “In 2010 the event took place at
the Arts Center of the Capital Region in Troy and sold out; it sold out
again in 2012 at Shakespeare & Company in Lenox,” adds Kristen van
Ginhoven, Artistic Director of WAM. “We’re delighted that Proctors invited
us to perform there this year and we’re hoping to sell out again!”
