[Capdist-auditions] Auditions for Mrs. Tilford/The Children's Hour/Siena College

[Kristen van Ginhoven]

Siena College is producing 'The Children's Hour' by Lillian Hellman. It
will be directed by Kristen van Ginhoven, Artistic Director of WAM Theatre.

The role of Mrs. Tilford will be played by a community actor.

A wealthy widow, Mrs. Tilford is a large, dignified woman in her sixties.
She has been an influential supporter of the Wright-Dobie School, where her
granddaughter, Mary, is enrolled. Although she is a fair and generous
person, she lacks good judgment when it comes to matters concerning her
granddaughter. She recognizes that Mary is both spoiled and manipulative,
but she dotes on the child and is utterly blind to the girl’s vicious
nature.

There are a few audition spots left on Friday, January 18 between 11am-1pm.

Rehearsals begin February 5 and Performances are March 13-17.

Rehearsals are Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday from 6-10pm and Sundays from
10:30-2:30 or 3-7. The actor playing the role of Mrs. Tilford will not be
called for every rehearsal.

There is no pay.
