Inspired by Georges Seurat's famous painting, "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte" this Sondheim/Lapine musical is one of the most acclaimed shows of our time. Brimming with beauty and light, this Pulitzer Prize winner is a deeply insightful and highly personal examination of life through art and the artist.
Director Duncan Morrison has outlined the following cast requirements:

Ability to read music will be taken into consideration during casting. Those auditioning for the role of George should choose material, such as a patter song, which demonstrates an ability to articulate lyrics and character with precision. Sondheim songs are not necessary, but allowed if playable by the pianist.
