Curtain Call Theatre (Latham, NY) will be holding auditions for their
upcoming production of

 

"Our Son's Wedding"

 

by Donna De Matteo, directed by Dianne O'Neill-Filer

 


Location:          Curtain Call Theatre, 210 Old Loudon Rd, Latham, NY 12110

Date:                Mon, February 11 ONLY

Time:               7:00pm - 9:00pm

 

Rehearsals: Start late February 2013

Performance Dates: April 5 through May 11, 2013 (Thu 7:30pm, Fri & Sat 8pm,
Sun 3pm) 

 

There is no need to make an appointment. Sides will be available at the
audition.

Please bring a picture and resume (attached), if you have them.

Love and marriage Italian-style: an Italian-American plumber and his wife
arrive at their son's wedding to another man. Complications erupt in a
humorous story of a family that needs to let go of the past and forge a new
future together.

 

The following roles are available:

 

Mary Lo Presto:  an Italian American woman in her 60's, she from the Bronx,
a devoted mother and a feisty wife to Angelo.

 

Angelo Lo Presto: an Italian American plumber from the Bronx, in his 60's
also feisty, he is the seemingly homophobic father of Michael.

 

Michael Lo Presto: the very handsome 32 year old homosexual son of Mary and
Angelo. He is an interior decorator, a bit on the 'swishy' side. 

 

Dr. David Schwartz: the 35 year old lover and husband to be of Michael. He
is a psychologist. Handsome and charming, Jewish but not obviously so.

 

 

This is a non-union production. There is NO PAY/NO FEE. Local hires, or
those able to provide their own housing, desired.
