Provided is more information regarding the Alliance Web Series shooting in August:

Greetings! We are already excited about the response to our casting call. We are still taking reservations, so those that are interested in auditioning on July 20th or July 21st should call
Christian Meola at (518) 331-5951.

We are also looking for people ages 16-21 to be cast as extras for a party scene. The scene will take place on the weekend of August 9th-11th, and will be shot in a residential home to capture the feeling of a high school party.

No previous acting experience is necessary, so we encourage everyone to be involved.

Shooting Dates: August 9-13th 2013

Actor from the Albany area Christian Meola and filmmaker Andy Cahill are seeking teenagers and young adults (ages 14-25) for their upcoming web series, Alliance. The series, about a group of teenagers involved in a secret society within their neighborhood, will be presented in short installments on the Internet. Shooting will take place from August 9-13th 2013, and those cast must be available for all days of filming. Actors do not need to prepare a monologue and instead should come ready to read sides from the script with a headshot and resume.

Character Breakdown:

Tony: 18-25. Eloquent, manipulative, and sly. Tony functions well in suburbia as a good looking, smart, and charming adolescent. However, Tony’s compulsive need for power and control make him one of the most threatening monsters on his block.

Cass: 18-25. An irresistible catch. Although honest and expressive, Cass’s personal independence is often compromised by her relationship with Tony. Cass is honest and carefree in public, yet deeply conflicted and troubled internally.



Trent: 14-18. The youngest and most intelligent of the group. His pragmatic approach to problem solving serves as his main social asset. He knows how to logically calculate good and bad decisions, as well as provide advice, even if he is not always listened to. Trent often doesn’t speak unless spoken to.

Kyle: 18-25. Kyle intimidates others based on his large muscular build, which he acquired from time as a high school football player. Because he’s not the brightest bulb, Kyle gets a lot more done with his fists than his brain.

Tom: 16-25. An outcast in search of popularity. Tom’s hesitancy saves him from getting into trouble with his peers, but his obsessive desire to fit in leads him down dark alleys. Desperate to find a way into Tony’s inner circle.
