MEL BROOKS’ MUSICAL YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN.

Family Productions in partnership with Colonial Little Theatre are thrilled to announce
auditions for Mel Brooks’ monstrously hysterical Musical “Young Frankenstein”-  The musical is based on the Gene Wilder &
Mel Brooks spoofy classic horror movie of the 1970s with music and lyrics by
Mel Brooks. 

Very funny!

 

On : Sunday,
August 4th ; Monday, August 5th  and Tuesday, August 6th .

Time:  6:00pm 

At: Colonial
Little Theatre  1 Colonial Court,   Johnstown

 

The show will
be presented on October 17,18,19,20, 24, 25, 26 & 27.

Directed by
Roberta Esposito.

 

The roles :

Dr. Frederick
Frankenstein : The
eccentric grandson of an infamous mad scientist.  He is the Dean of Anatomy at New York’s
Johns, Miriam & Anthony Hopkins School of Medicine. 

 

The Monster : The large misunderstood creation of Frederick.  A hopeless romantic.

 

Igor: Frederick’s faithful, bright-eyed, eager servant

 

Inga: The not-so-bright assistant to Frederick.  Young and sexy

 

Elizabeth
Benning: Self loving,
naïve, boisterous fiancée of Frederick

 

Frau
Bleucher:  The proud housekeeper of the Frankenstein
estate. Intense and stern

 

Inspector
Hans Kemp: The justice-driven,
protective, steadfast town inspector

 

The
Hermit:   The lonely, poor, blind town hermit

 

Dr. Victor
Von Frankenstein:  Frederick’s infamous grandfather and creator
of the original monster.  A proud and
stubborn man.

 

Ziggy;  The
well-intentioned village idiot

 

Ensemble: a zany group to portray villagers, gravediggers,
medical students, mad scientists.

 

All roles are
open.

the script.
