[Capdist-auditions] Notification of workshop (Fee required) 2nd submission

Glens Falls Community Theater is  offering Theater Workshops. The cost for
the *entire 5 week workshop is $40.00* There are still a few openings for
those who may be interested.

This year Brenny Rabine   (see brennyrabine.com) will be conducting the
Acting Workshop. The format and schedule for the workshop is as follows:

*Saturday, March 23*:
Business of Acting: What does it take to turn your love of acting into a
career? In this workshop, Brenny will share business tips from creating an
effective headshot and resume, writing professional business communication,
attending open calls, where to find auditions, and how to juggle it all
with your "real life." She strongly encourages participants to bring
whatever headshots and resumes they're currently using for critique.

*April 6*:
Monologue workshop. Brenny will help you develop and rehearse a monologue.
Actors develop these "one person scenes" as a way to stay flexible and to
strengthen their technique, as well as for material to use in auditions.
Participants are encouraged to find something before their first class to

*April 13:*
Continuation of last week's Monologue workshop.

*April 20*:
Nailing Your Audition. You got called back! Now what? Preparing callback
sides, with practice in improv and cold reading.

*April 27:*
Scene Work. Brenny will pair you with another actor and assign you a scene
to rehearse with her in class. We'll focus on impacting your partner,
making your partner look good, and listening.

The workshops will be held at the Charles Wood Theater in the upstairs
rehearsal room. The sessions will run from *10 AM to 1 PM* on the dates
stated above.  (refreshments will be available)

The cost for the *entire 5 week workshop is $40.00*  (if you cannot attend
all five sessions, that is ok, but the cost is still $40.00)  The class
size is limited to* 10 to 16 participants*.* Please contact me at the
