[Capdist-auditions] Children's Summer Dance Camps and Classes - Fee Required

June 24th-28th:	"Imagination Station" - (Ages 3-6) 	9:30am - 12:30pm	Fee - $155

Imaginations will soar in this creative movement camp! Children will explore making rhythms and moving through space via the use of dance games, props, and different tools & themes that encourage exploration & creativity. Each day children will participate in a dance class and create a dance related art or craft. A beautiful introduction to movement, this week will culminate with a creative movement showing for parents/caregivers. Please bring a bag lunch, snack will be provided.


July 8th-12th:	"Rhythm-Makers" - (Ages 7-10)	10:00am - 2:00pm	Fee - $200

Each day children will learn tap technique, jazz technique, explore the musician within through various games, techniques & instruments and learn about a historical figure in the dance world & their contribution. Children will finish each day by learning & helping to create a choreographed piece. The week will culminate with a showing of the students work. Please bring a bag lunch, snack will be provided.


July 15-19:		"Fascinatin' Rhythm" - (Ages 11-15)	9:00am-3:00pm	Fee - $225

Students will study tap technique, jazz technique, improvisation, music pedagogy and view footage of a particular historical figure in dance & their contribution. Each day will culminate with a choreography workshop in which the students will learn & help to create a choreographed piece. By weeks end the students will have a showing of their work. Please bring a bag lunch, snack will be provided.


August 26-30:	"Jazz Tap Intensive" - (Ages 13-18)		4:00pm-8:00pm	Fee - $225

For the intermediate/advanced student that wants to sharpen their technique and get back into shape for the fall dance season. Daily classes include jazz technique, tap technique, improvisation and video viewing / dance discussion. Students should bring a snack and water bottle.

4:30-6:00pm Beg/Int Jazz & Tap Combo (ages 8-11)

6:00-7:00pm  Beg/Int Jazz (ages 12 & up)

7:00-8:00pm Beg/Int Tap  (ages 12 & up)



Tuesdays:

4:30-5:45pm Int/Adv Jazz (ages 13 & up)

5:45-7:00pm Int/Adv Tap  (ages 13 & up)

7:00-8:30pm Beg/Int Adult Tap & Jazz Combo
