*SYNOPSIS*

After humanity is ravaged by a vicious virus, society's remnants are 
spread across rundown civilizations, connected only by winding, perilous 
roads. On one of these roads, a tenacious pack of travelers is captured 
by bandits. As greater threats emerge from the forest shadows, the 
discordant groups must decide what is worth sacrificing to continue 
living in a world that has become wretched and desolate.

*CHARACTER BIOS (The following roles need to be filled)*

Roland

Age: 20-30

Gender: Male

Roland is the bodyguard of the travelers. He has a cocky, self-sure 
attitude, is a pragmatic decision maker, and sometimes struggles to 
maintain healthy personal relationships. He is highly skilled in 
hand-to-hand and armed combat.

Pournelle

Age: 18-25

Gender: Female

Pournelle is the youngest member of the group of travelers, recently 
freed from a torturous prison camp. She is inquisitive but also offended 
easily. Her psyche is damaged because of her traumatic experiences, and 
she only trusts her cousin, Cormac, who is also traveling with her. She 
wishes for safety for her and her cousin and also hopes to reach a place 
that is safe and quiet.

Bill

Age: 25-35

Gender: Male

Bill is the former leader of the bandit group, and now serves as 
second-in-command. His personality can be rough and abrasive, but is 
still highly respected by the other bandits. Coming from a wealthy 
family pre-virus, he has a love for "nice things," and enjoys talking 
about himself. There is a noticeable rift between him and the Highwayman.

Francis

Age: 20-30

Gender: Male

Francis has been a member of the bandit group longer than any other 
surviving member. Having served for so long, he is highly experienced in 
the group's operations and survivalist skills. He is laid-back and 
content following orders, lacking the drive to rise up and lead.

The Highwayman

Age: 25-30

Gender: Male

The Highwayman was a resident of the feared Hudson prison camps, a 
former refugee outpost turned despotic city-state bent on ridding the 
world of illness. Sickened by their near religious fanaticism, the 
Highwayman set out on his own, utilizing his skills as a former patrol 
agent for Hudson's Hunter gangs. Because of this, the constant fear of 
being captured lurks at the back of his mind. Despite distancing himself 
from them, the Highwayman still retains certain germophobic 
characteristics, constantly washing and wiping his hands, and often 
wearing a small face mask to help prevent illness. He does however 
deeply cares for the safety of his group and possesses a charismatic 
personality that helps unite them.

Kenny

Age: 20-25

Gender: Male

Kenny grew up in a small town ravaged by a second wave of the Scourge. 
Hunters tried to take him in, but a retreating Highwayman freed him and 
took Kenny under his wing. Kenny is lousy with survival skills, and can 
constantly be the butt of the bandit's jokes, but he tries to make up 
for it with a healthy enthusiasm to help out. The loss of most of his 
family and friends has bred a strong loyalty to his teammates, and he 
does his best to impress them.
