The Schenectady Civic Players announces open auditions for the 1st production of its 86th season, Lanford Wilson's Book of Days , Tuesday and Thursday, June 11 and 13, at its Playhouse, 12 South Church St., in  Schenectady's historic Stockade district.  Sign-ups begin at 7:15 pm each evening, with readings starting at 7:30 p.m. 

 

When murder roars through a small town, Ruth Hoch begins her own quest to find

truth and honesty amid greed, lies, jealousy and religion. The play propels you through the evening like a page-turning mystery. "Wilson's best work since Fifth of July...an intriguing and thoroughly engrossing depiction of contemporary small-town life with a murder mystery at its core....a splendid evening of theatre." - Variety
