Performance Workshop!!!

 

Workshop
intended for students in 6th-12th Grade

 

Instructor – Eric Shovah

 Audition Preparation and Acting - Saturday, November 23rd from 9:00am-2:00pm

Students
will learn and practice techniques to improve on auditions and to also improve
as performers in general.  All students
are encouraged to bring either a monologue or song to work on as part of the
class.  This is a great opportunity for
students auditioning for Spring High School Productions to prepare and receive
feedback from an experienced director. 
The students will also tackle topics like cold readings from a script,
movement, improv scenes, character development, script analysis, and much
more!  Eric Shovah is a local director
who works with many area schools and has experience in musicals, comedies,
dramas, and classics.

workshop will be held at the Rexford United Methodist Church at 18 Main St.,
Rexford, NY.
