ATTENTION STUDENTS! ANNOUNCING THREE NEW STUDENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE FALL/WINTER SESSION AT PARK PLAYHOUSE...

A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS! 
Featuring the students of Park Playhouse
Presented at The Palace Theatre in Downtown Albany
Performances: December  20 & 21, 2014 / Matinee & Evening

Rehearsals: Friday evenings October 10 – December 19 at Eba Dance Studio in Albany
Tuition: $250 for 10-week program. Some tuition assistance available.
Audition Information
Friday, September 5 and Saturday, September 6, 2014
Eba Dance Studio on Lark Street in Albany, NY
Open auditions from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.  Callbacks each night at 8:00pm.
Please prepare 32 bars of any theatre song or christmas carol. Bring sheet music.
Students will sing individually and will be taught a very short dance combination.
Seeking students of all ages & experience levels. Double casting by age will be considered.

DANCE CLASSES – FALL 2014 SESSION
Park Playhouse is pleased to announce the new schedule of Dance Classes for the Fall term in 2014. These classes are designed to cater to both advanced, experienced dancing students, as well as relative beginners.  Our classes allow students to build the fundamental abilities needed to excel as a dancer or performer in the theatre, focusing on three specific dance areas: musical theatre/jazz styles, tap dance and ballet. Class size will be capped to ensure personal attention for students by our instructor, Ashley Simone Kirchner.  An open recital class for families will be held at the end of the term.
The following  schedule of classes will be offered:
Ballet – Saturdays @ 12:00pm
Tap – Saturdays @ 1:00pm
Musical Theatre & Jazz Dance  - Saturdays @ 2:00pm
Tuition is $250 per class term. Tuition assistance/payment plan available.
All classes to be held at The Eba Dance Studios in Albany
This session runs from September 6
though November 15.

NEW FOR FALL 2014…
PERFORMING ARTIST’S WORKSHOP
Park Playhouse is pleased to introduce a new series of classes, starting in Fall,2014, aimed at giving young, beginner-level students a chance to get their start in the theatre! Whether getting over stage fright, learning acting basics, gaining introductory vocal lessons or building dance skills, these classes give young students their first taste of performing on stage in front of an audience and their peers.
Performing Artists’ Workshop (PAW) is broken down into three segments each week, with each student getting a half hour of dance training, acting exercises and vocal lessons during the weekly 90-minute class session. Whether your child has been in a few plays or never performed before, our staff will support them, make them feel welcome and develop their skills for future success.
Classes will be held Saturdays from 3:30 to 5:00pm.
Tuition is $250 per class term. Tuition assistance/payment plan available.
All classes to be held at The Eba Dance Studios in Albany
This session’s classes run from September 6
through November 15.
