*These classes are a great addition to your current lessons, hearing new

Finding a song well suited to an individual personality and skill set and
perfecting the overall presentation of that song. Not every song works well
for every performer. When a performer finds the right song and the right
place in his/her vocal range to sing that song, it may carry him/her
through years of auditions. Many successful professional performers have
auditioned with the same song(s) through an entire career. If this workshop
does not find that song for you, it gives you the skills to find that song
for yourself. Please sign up with Meg at sctmkelly at gmail.com to reserve your
spot.
This class meets in four sessions. There will be assignments that must be
completed in order to participate.
Goals: Learning how to analyze a song lyric
Making the lyric emotionally your own
Finding the best part of your singing voice to express that emotion
Learning ways to become comfortable with a performance
