GHENT PLAYHOUSE SEEKING DIRECTORS FOR 2014-2015 THEATRE SEASON

The Ghent Playhouse, a non-profit, community theatre located at 6 Town hall Place in Ghent, New York, is currently accepting proposals from directors interested in submitting productions for its 40th Anniversary theatre season, 2014-2015. Those interested may submit up to three (3) shows for consideration.  The Playhouse is looking for a well-rounded season of theatre in all genres: comedy, drama, farce, classic, musical, etc.  The Company offers four productions each season, in addition to its annual Panto, presented by the Pantoloons. 

         Slot #1 - October 2014

         Slot #2 - Nov-Dec 2014 – reserved for annual Panto

         Slot #3 - Jan-Feb 2015

         Slot #4 - Mar-Apr 2015

         Slot #5 - May-Jun 2015

Please provide the following information to Ghent Playhouse Artistic Director, Cathy Lee-Visscher: your name, address, home and cell phone number, email address, the title and playwright of the shows you wish to submit, your top two preferred production slots and a brief resume.

Requested information and submissions may either be mailed to Cathy Lee-Visscher at the Ghent Playhouse; PO Box 64, Ghent, New York 12075 or emailed to ghentplayhouse at fairpoint.net, noting "2014-2015 Theatre Season" in the subject box.

Deadline for submissions is March 1, 2014.
