What to prepare: Prepare 32 bars of a Broadway song. Please bring sheet music. 

Rehearsals for NINE begin August 16
Rehearsals for LITTLE WOMEN September 22.


Seeking: 

NINE
16 women, all vocal and physical types and 4 young boys who sing, ages 7-9. 
The roles of Carla, Claudia and Luisa have been cast.

LITTLE WOMEN
The roles of Marmee March, Professor Bhaer, Meg March and Laurie Lawrence.
All other roles have been cast.

This spectacular musical delighted Broadway theatergoers in a hit revival in 2003 starring Antonio Banderas. Nine is the story of a celebrated film director Guido Contini and his attempts to come up with a plot for his next film as he is pursued by hordes of beautiful women, all clamoring to be loved by him and him alone. Flashbacks reveal the substance of his life which will become the material for his next film: a musical version of the Casanova story.

LITTLE WOMEN, follows the adventures of sisters Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March. Jo is trying to sell her stories for publication, but the publishers are not interested - her friend Professor Bhaer tells her that she has to do better and write more from herself. Begrudgingly taking this advice, Jo weaves the story of herself and her sisters and their experience growing up in Civil War America.
