[Capdist-auditions] Local Independent Feature Film

Hello,
I am a local independent filmmaker who intends to shoot a feature film in September around the Albany/Latham area. I am looking to hold auditions in the hope of casting the four main roles. 

The film itself deals with a young teen named Jake. After Jake commits a heinous act upon his girlfriend, Cassie, he suppresses the act and is absolved of any guilt by his community. One year later, after a hallucinogenic experience, the memory begins to resurface. Through a series of flashbacks and present day sequences, we see the formation and subsequent end of a relationship and learn what happened on the fateful night as Jake begins to atone for his sins.

The four main roles I am looking to cast are as follows: 

Jake- Age 16-17. Divorced parents. Lives with his dad and doesn't see much of his mom. In the flashbacks he was a heavy drinker, but isn't anymore. Grew up with Mike and became friends with Jane in high school. He is friendly with everybody, but only really close with Mike and Jane. He's more subdued than Mike, and kind of rides on Mike's bombastic personality. Idealistic view of the world. His dark side is kind of generated by that unrealistic view, and the fact that the world doesn't live up to his view of it. When he drinks he becomes less subdued, and unleashes his inner frustrations. In the present he is deconstructing his idealistic view, and coming to terms with what he has done. Part of the contrast of the ideal and real world is his relationship with his parents. Maintains a good attitude throughout the flashbacks.

Mike- Age 16-17. He has a more settled home life than everyone else. Not upper-middle class, but solidly middle class. Met Jake when he was a new kid in the area. Jake was one of his first friends. Slowly though, Jake became more diminutive and Mike's personality came out as outgoing and positive. He is a solid B student, and knows how to manipulate teachers, as well as peers. His parents are still together. Very animalistic, sexually assertive and open.

Jane- Age 17-18. Longtime girlfriend of Mike and older sister of Cassie. Jane and Jake are now closer than Mike and Jake are. Jane was the middle-woman when Jake and Cassie would bicker. Cool, down to earth girl, who's friends with more men than women. She is the favorite child out of her and Cassie.

Cassandra- Age 15-16. Jane's sister and one time girlfriend of Jake. Living with relatives. She is a bit of a wild child, but she looks and acts innocent. Really intelligent, heavy substance user. Looks up to her sister. She takes after her mother, a lot more than Jane does. She feels some resentment to her sister for being the apple of her parents eyes. After the incident she, by choice goes back to live with her relatives.
