Rehearsals will be conducted either inAlbany or at the performance venue.

Sat. 10-4
Sun: Noon -4
 
Actors will be paid a performance stipend andtravel expenses at the completion of the run. 
 
Auditions will be by appointment. Pleasebring recent headshot and resume.

Audition slots will be assigned on a"first contact, first reserve" basis.
 
Talent will be asked to read from thescript for most parts. 
 
We will be casting the following roles:
 
GIL MARTIN - Lead male:20’s: Hard worker, in love with his wife. Wants a family and to live a decentlife.
 
ADAM HELMER - The timber beast. Ruggedwoodsman. Most comfortable in the 
woods. Great soldier/scout. No formal education.A ladies man. A bit 
mischevious. Trustworthy. Staunch patriot.
 
COL. EBENEZER COX - One of Herkimer’smilitia officers. Ornry. 
Does not care for Nicholas Herkimer’sleadership style. Prone to impulse. Hot 
temper. 20’s-40’s
 
ENSIGN WALTER BUTLER – Age: 25.  Will cast late 20’- Early 30’s: The villain.Son of the Mohawk Valley’s most powerful and prominent Tory John Butler.[Tory=loyal to King George III]. Confident, 
intelligent, brash, a ladies man. A lawyerby profession. Excellent motivator
and a man of means. Can be ruthless.
 
BRIGADIER GENERAL BENEDICT ARNOLD Age: 36Will cast 30’s to early 40’s– America’s best fighting general. A favorite ofGeneral George Washington. Brash, confident, yet civilized and a steadfast patriot.A man conflicted.
 
BARRY ST. LEGER-44 yrs old. Will cast 30’sto early 40’s. British general. Known to be somewhat indecisive. Underestimatespatriot fortitude. Had experience in French and Indian war with some experiencein bush warfrare. Known to be a copious drinker of alcohol.
 
SIR JOHN JOHNSON- 36 yrs. Old. Will castlate 20’s to early to mid 30’s. Son of Sir William Johnson. More inclined to bea gentleman farmer than a leader of men.
 
HONYERRY DOXTADER-Age: 53. Will cast 30’s-50’s.Oneida Indian. Friend of Nicholas Herkimer. Trustworthy patriot.
 
MOLLY BRANT-Age 41: Joseph Brant’s older sister.Sir William Johnson’s second wife. Also known as Lady Johnson. Intellegent,elegant, attractive, influential.
 
TRIPP – Herkimer’s slave. African Americanmale.
