*Directed by Karen Christina Jones*

The comedy, which raises questions about art and friendship, concerns three
long-time friends, Serge, Marc, and Yvan. Serge, indulging his penchant for
modern art, buys a large, expensive, completely white painting. Marc is
horrified, and their relationship suffers considerable strain as a result
of their differing opinions about what constitutes "art". Yvan, caught in
the middle of the conflict, tries to please and mollify both of them.




*Marc*
 a forty-something aeronautical engineer who prides himself in fending
off"modern culture." He withholds no judgments and spares no feelings, yet
still expects the eager endorsement of his friends.

*Serge*
a divorced dermatologist, is steeped in modernity, but cannot fully
appreciate his
cultured lifestyle unless it is validated by those around him.

*Yvan*
 the youngest of the trio, both chronologically and psychologically. A
lifetime of yo-yoing between decisions and kowtowing to his friends and
family is beginning to take
an emotional toll on him.



*Auditions will be held at Albany Public Library Main Branch 161 Washington
Avenue, Albany *


*on Saturday, March 22nd 2.00pm-4.00pm.*

*Please have a two minute comic monologue prepared and all actors will read*
