GHENT PLAYHOUSE STILL SEEKING ACTORS FOR  “JOHN STEINBECK’S THE GRAPES OF WRATH” PERFORMING MAY 23 – JUNE 8

Ghent Playhouse is seeking additional actors for “John Steinbeck’s The Grapes of Wrath”, a classic saga of displaced heartland Americans during the Dust Bowl Depression. The novel was adapted for the stage by Frank Galati and the Steppenwolff Theater Coompany   Performances dates are May 23-25, May 30-June 1 and June 6-8.  Director Joe Philips is still casting the following roles:.
Several more children/teens including an 11-14 year old boy

A boy to play Winfield Joad (about 10 years old)

Another young woman in her early 20’s (or who looks in her early 20’s)

Noah Joad (30+ - Tom’s brother)

At least one other younger man (17-22 range)

4-5 men anywhere from 25 years old and up

Woman between the age of 25 and 60
