 Looking for performers for the TCT Gala event 12/2/2014
>
> What's needed:
> *Five Cabaret Style Acts
>
> *An Emcee to open the ceremony, introduce the acts, introduce the award
presenters and close the ceremony. This person needs to have great comedic
timing and work closely with the producer on the scripting. Will consider a
duo for this role.
>
> Audition by appointment-only on Oct 28th between 6:30-8:30pm
> At the Italian Community Center 5th Ave Troy, NY
>
> PLEASE EMAIL rscgrad@ gmail.com for audition time and a brief description
of your act
>
> ALL PERFORMERS MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
> 1)Rehearsal/ Run through on Monday 12/1 @ 6:30pm*
> 2)Performance- Tuesday 12/2, 2014 5:30 call
>
> *Emcee will need to meet  approximately weekly with production team up
until awards ceremony.
>
> Who:
> Performers: should be ~16-adult for tasteful musical theater numbers
reflecting the influence of film to Stage and vice versa. Choreographed
numbers, vocal w/ acoustic guitar & or other instrumentation would be
fabulous!
>
> Emcee: to open the ceremony, introduce the acts, introduce the award
presenters and close the ceremony. This person needs to have great comedic
timing and work closely with the producer on the scripting. Will consider a
duo for this role.
>
> What to bring:
> Performers: Your act (if more than one performer, all must be present for
the audition), costume and sheet music in the correct key. Accompanist will
be available. Please no karaoke or a' Capella
> Emcee: Please prepare an original comedic monologue ~ 2 minutes
>
> All Auditioning should bring a resume and headshot if you have one.
>
