[Capdist-auditions] New Musical At Proctors - Auditions 9/14 and 9/17

DKAT Productions, Inc. will be holding auditions for THE GRINGO WHO STOLE CHRISTMAS, a musical adaptation from an Hispanic point of view of the Dickens classic  "A Christmas Carol" by famed Latin musician Alex Torres and author David Kalish on September 14th and 17th at 7:00 pm at Proctors Theater in the downstairs education space. There are several roles available for Hispanic and non-Hispanic actors. Available roles are for 3 men and 3 women ranging in age from 20 to 60 years of age (or who can play that range). Production dates are December 12-14 and 19-21 at Proctors in the GE Theater.  This production will be directed by Matthew T. Teichner (director of RENT and SPRING AWAKENING at The Egg). Those auditioning will be asked to sing 16-32 bars of a musical theater piece of their choosing and will perform a cold reading of a monologue, which will be provided.
