Master Classes with Broadway Connection 


Park Playhouse is pleased to offer students a unique opportunity to study
with Broadway performers from all of the major National Touring productions
playing at Proctors during the 2015-2016 Theatre Season!  We are proud to
partner with  <http://www.broadwayconnection.net> Broadway Connection and
their incredible teaching artists to present a series of seven workshops
drawn from a wide variety of theatre performance disciplines: from acting
technique to tap dance, to acting through song to audition techniques.
Workshops will be held on the Monday evening prior to touring productions
playing Proctors in Schenectady, and the classes will be hosted at The
Palace Theatre in Albany, NY.

 

Individual workshops will feature two-hour master classes, each culminating
in an open questions & answer session with the Broadway Connection artists,
all of whom have significant experience performing on Broadway, in touring
productions and in regional theaters throughout our nation. Take advantage
of a wonderful opportunity to get advanced, professionally curated
Broadway-level training from incredible artists from some of the best shows
touring the country today! And all without leaving our own backyard!
Workshops with artists of this caliber usually require a trip to New York
City, but Broadway Connection will bring this training directly to Park
Playhouse students starting this fall!  Class size is strictly limited, so
