> The Troy Civic Theatre Company is pleased to announce upcoming auditions for 'No Exit!,' written by Jean-Paul Sartre and directed by Myka Dassano.  
> 
> Audition Information:  
> Auditions will be held at the Italian Community Center of Troy NY, 1450 5th Ave, Troy, NY 12180
> 
> Thursday, August 27th, from 6-9pm  
> 
> Callbacks will be held on Saturday the 29th, 1-4pm, also at the Troy ICC.
> 
> If you are unable to make the audition time please contact Myka directly at Leanne1672 at me.com to arrange an alternate audition time.  
> 
> You can also reserve a specified audition slot if you are on a tight schedule by contacting Myka directly at Leanne1672 at me.com.  


> FOR AUDITIONS - sides will not be provided for auditions. Bring one or two monologues please. Contemporary. If you bring two have them be different in tone please.

> Callbacks will include doing selected scenes from the show.

> Play Information: 
> Two women and one man are locked up together for eternity in one hideous room in hell. The windows are bricked up; there are no mirrors; the electric lights can never be turned off; and there is no exit. The irony of this hell is that its torture is not of the rack and fire, but of the burning humiliation of each soul as it is stripped of its pretenses by the cruel curiosity of the damned. Here the soul is shorn of secrecy, and even the blackest deeds are mercilessly exposed to the fierce light of hell. It is an eternal torment.  
> 
> Characters:  
> 
> Joseph Garcin/Cradeau (male), serial adulterer, callous, cowardly and used to getting his way.  
> 
> Ines Serrano (female), manipulative, cruel, cunning, and completely accepts that she is a horrible person.  
> 
> Estelle Rigault (female), vain, cold, murdered her infant child because the child's father was too affectionate and she wanted him to leave her alone.  
> 
> Valet/Bellboy (either gender), this is the character who shepherds the three damned souls into the waiting room. While this is a smaller role, there is a lot of room to create a unique character here.  
>
