Carry Your Heart is theater for suicide prevention. The first act is a performance of an original script, written and directed by Michael Kennedy and based on interviews with 6 individuals affected by suicide. (The second act is a condensed Playback Theater performance. Playback allows audience members to share stories from their own lives and see them played back immediately as theater. The Playback Theater company is cast.)
 
 Auditions for Carry Your Heart are for the scripted section of the performance.  Male and female roles are available for 4 male and 4 female actors. Actors ages 20-70, of all races, are encouraged to audition.
 
 PLEASE NOTE: The rehearsal schedule will allow for flexibility and will not require an extensive time commitment. However, you MUST be available on Nov 14 (9-5) and Nov 15 (12-4) and, of course, for performances on Nov 20 (7:30pm) and Nov 21 (3pm and 7:30pm).

 Please arrive between 6:30 - 7:00 pm to sign in. Feel free to bring a resume if you have one. You do not need to prepare a monologue or bring a head shot.
 
 If you are interested in auditioning and unable to attend on September 21, Michael will arrange for you to audition the following night, Tuesday September 22, at 7pm at her office, Creative Action Unlimited, in the Troy Atrium.
