Note: This production requires some ethnic roles, and while all attempts
will be made to cast those ethnicities, if it is determined that non-ethnic
actors must be used or a different ethnicity or race (due to acting,
singing, other casting, availability or any other reasons deemed critical by
the directors), make up will be used to alter appearances to fit the parts.
The production also includes two romantic couples, and these relationships
are key to the story, so actors should be prepared to create some
electricity! If you are squeamish about showing passion for another actor
in your role, the lead couples are not for you. French accents will be
required for certain roles. Please bring a photo (any type).

Below are listed the major roles. We anticipate a cast of about 30. The
vocal ranges are also specified, but please use them as a general guide and
don’t be afraid to come audition. The musical director would like to hear
something from the show itself for your audition. For vocal selections to
prepare, please contact Shirley Neiss at <mailto:knsn at nycap.rr.com>
knsn at nycap.rr.com. There are a few non-singing roles, too. Sides will be
provided at the audition, so monologues are not needed. Please familiarize
yourself with the story and major characters before auditions.
