I had already sent in a release for auditions for staged readings on Jan 4 but this replaces that because two other auditions are being held as well...all on Jan. 4 and 5.  Did not know this was going to happen. I apologize for any confusion. Thank you.




Town Players of Pittsfield, in its  95th Season, is auditioning for multiple upcoming winter events to be presented at the Whitney Center for the Arts.


Auditions will be at the Whitney Center for the Arts, 42 Wendell Avenue on both Monday, January 4 and Tuesday, January 5  starting at 6pm. Sides will be provided.  Prepared monologues are welcome but not required.  Please keep prepared monologues under two minutes.
 
Auditions will be for: (1) Staged readings of "Hearing Aid" by Pete Barry and 
"Senior Moments" by Frederick Stroppel with a performance date of  Sunday, January, 31 at 2pm. Needed are men and women who are middle-aged and older and one younger woman. (2) A fully staged production of "Ten Shorts" by Jerry Leventhal, presented in collaboration with the Whitney Center for the Arts, as part of the City of Pittsfield's Annual 10x10 Festival with performances February 19, 20, and 21. Needed are five men and five women of all ages. (3) The 95th season, fully staged production of "The Shape of Things" by Neil LaBute with performances the weekends of March 11 and 18. Needed are two men and two women, early to mid-twenties or who can play that range.
