*TEEN TROUPE*

*Putting It Together* *series*

This 5-week program will allow an actor the chance to experience, in-depth,
the world of musical theatre performance and to hone their vocal, dance and
acting skills. Since this past fall SCT has been offering valuable classes
and workshops to educate students in various forms of theatre that will
improve their performance skills. It’s time to incorporate all that’s been
taught and expand on their skills. The goal of this series is to create
fully-developed young musical theatre performers. At the conclusion of the
program, students will demonstrate what they’ve learned in a performance
for friends and family members.

In addition to weekly training in acting, voice and dance, *Putting It
Together *will provide every student with two audition songs and two
contrasting monologues for their next audition. Participants will also have
the opportunity to work professional in the business 5 during the last week
and *prior to their showcase for friends and family*. This is an incredible
opportunity for middle school and high schools students to work with an
award-winning actor and casting director, Kelly Briggs (see bio attached).

The performing arts are a craft that must always be practiced. Therefore,
if you’ve previously studied with SCT, or have a private vocal coach, study
dance in a studio, or have been in multiple shows in the last year – it’s
not enough. Young performers are encouraged to continue to develop their
skills to become confident and secure with their talents and abilities –
especially those that have their sights on pursuing collegiate or
conservatory studies after high school.
