I am a member of the Saratoga Soundtrack Chorus of Sweet Adelines International. We are a championship women's a cappella chorus in Saratoga Springs, ranked as one of the top 5 small choruses in the Sweet Adelines worldwide organization. We have been awarded the honor of competing in October in Las Vegas for the international small chorus title.

We have decided to assemble a performance package consisting of songs from WWII. We are dressing as Rosie the Riveter and will be performing songs displaying women's pride in their service to our soldiers who went overseas to war. As part of our package, we are looking for authentic lunch pails or lunch buckets that people in the 1940's would have used to bring lunches to work.

We are hoping there are theaters, other organizations, or individuals who might know how we might borrow authentic looking lunch pails to use in our package. We will help advertise your organization in our show programs and other mechanisms to show our thanks.

We would need the lunch pails for about 3 weeks in April/May as we prepare for our regional contest in May in Albany, then again for 3 weeks in Sept/Oct as we prepare and make our trip to the international contest in Las Vegas.

If you can help in any way, please send an email to Lori Porter at lorisings4u at yahoo.com.

Thank you very much for helping us!
