non-Equity theatre just over 2 hours from New York City, in the scenic
rural yet urbane town of Chatham, NY.

Ø 2015 season production starts May 11, through September 20 (some
flexibility to accommodate school schedules). Shows include classic and
contemporary musicals to be announced soon.

*STAGE MANAGER; ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER: * Work with top caliber New York
City directors; also top-notch performers (non-Equity and Equity Guest
Artists) on classic and contemporary musicals in our intimate, unique
theatre-in-the-round space. Professional summer stock, and/or in-the-round
experience a plus for this busy, rewarding position which needs someone who
thrives on doing their best, can set priorities and work precisely in
fast-paced 2-week production/performance schedule. Strong tech knowledge
and excellent communication, people and organizational skills are an
absolute must to handle all aspects of rehearsals and performances.
Directors have excellent credits and contacts, people who started here are
now working with major national tours, regional theatres and Broadway
shows. Competitive salaries, housing provided, regular time off, 125 miles
from NYC; car handy, driver’s license necessary.
*Stage Manager: *Hands-on position includes but is not limited to: assign
and sometimes help with scene changes, keep close contact with production
office, track rehearsal and tech progress, performance notes, scheduling,
oversee changeover, set up for performances, run photo calls, etc.; SM does
not call cues.
*Assistant Stage Manager: * Hands-on position includes but is not limited
to: assist stage manager in all areas, sometimes help with scene changes,
set-up for shows, etc., ASM does not call cues. If you are still in
college, we will work with your school to get you any credits this
excellent experience will qualify you for.
*MASTER CARPENTER: *Work with top caliber designers from New York City and
around the country, building imaginative sets and solving space situations
for 8 main stage classic and contemporary musicals and 2 to 3 children's
theatre shows in our unique, intimate theatre-in-the-round space.
Professional summer stock, and/or in-the-round experience a plus for this
busy, rewarding position which needs someone who thrives on doing their
best, can set priorities and work precisely in fast-paced 2-week
production, 3-day turn-around schedule. Strong construction skills needed
for fast, accurate building as well as adapting from our stock;
responsibilities also include but are not limited to: oversee shop and
staff, track budgets, and maintain basic, workable shop. Rigging
experience necessary. Scene shop staff also designs for children's theatre
shows. Competitive salary, housing provided, regular time off, 125 miles

*SCENE SHOP CARPENTER: * Work with top caliber designers from New York
City and around the country, building imaginative sets for 8 main stage

stock, and/or in-the-round experience a plus for this busy, rewarding
position which needs someone who thrives on doing their best, can set

turn-around schedule. Strong construction skills needed for fast, accurate

*PROPERTIES DESIGNER/ARTISAN: * Work with top caliber directors and
designers from New York City and around the country, stretch your creative
muscles on props for 8 main stage classic and contemporary musicals in our
unique, intimate theatre-in-the-round space. Professional summer stock,
and/or in-the-round experience a plus for this busy, rewarding position
which needs someone who thrives on doing their best, can set priorities and
work precisely in fast-paced 2-week production, 3-day turn-around
schedule. One-person department with part-time help. Research, design and
build new pieces, adapt, repair and renovate stock pieces; borrow whenever
necessary. Competitive salary, housing provided, regular time off, 125
miles from NYC; car handy, driver’s license necessary, own tools handy. If
you are still in college, we will work with your school to get you any

*COSTUME SHOP FOREMAN/FIRST HAND: *Work with top caliber directors,

build of 8 main stage and 2 to 3 children’s theatre musicals. Professional
summer stock experience a plus for this busy, rewarding position which
needs someone who thrives on doing their best, can set priorities and work
precisely in fast-paced 2-week production, 3-day turn-around schedule.
Must have good construction, communication and organizational skills to
assign and explain projects. Hands-on position to add to your portfolio
with complete projects, as well as alter and adapt from our extensive
stock. Shop staff design for children's theatre show. Competitive salary,

*CUTTER/DRAPER: * Work with top caliber directors, designers and staff from
New York City and around the country on 8 main stage and 2 to 3 children’s
theatre musicals. Professional summer stock experience a plus for this
busy, rewarding position which needs someone who thrives on doing their
best, can set priorities and work precisely in a fast-paced 2-week
production, 3-day turn-around schedule. Strong skills needed for fast,
accurate work in all aspects of patterning, cutting and draping; all shows
include built from new designs as well as pieces altered and adapted from
our extensive stock. Partial season or jobbing in for one or more shows a
possibility. Shop staff design for some children's theatre shows.

dressing and repair skills are a must for this busy, rewarding position
which needs someone who thrives on doing their best and can work calmly
through some multi-show days. One-person department with part-time
assistance. Competitive salary, housing provided, two-week production and
performance schedule with regular time off, 125 miles from NYC; car handy,
driver’s license necessary. If you are still in college, we will work with

*WIG/MAKEUP STYLIST/WARDROBE ASSISTANT: * Work with top caliber directors
and designers from New York City and around the country, styling wigs and
hair plus assisting with make-up when needed for 8 main stage and 3
children’s theatre musicals; also work closely with Artistic Director.
Strong styling skills are a must for this busy, rewarding position which
needs someone who thrives on doing their best. Also assist with make-up
styling and possibly create looks for specialty characters. Assist
wardrobe with maintenance and dressing as needed. Competitive salary,
housing provided, two-week production and performance schedule with regular

*COSTUMING INTERN:* Excellent professional experience for person
enthusiastic to learn more about all aspects of theatre costuming. Work
with talented designers and shop staff on all aspects of costume
construction, possibility of assisting design children’s theatre show. If
you are still in college, we will work with your school to get you any
credits this excellent experience will qualify you for. Stipend and
housing provided, two-week production and performance schedule with regular

to learn more about all aspects of technical theatre. Primarily working in

assisting in all other tech areas as needed, possibility of assisting
design children’s theatre show. If you are still in college, we will work
with your school to get you any credits this excellent experience will
