The Two Of Us Productions, the award winning production company based in
Copake NY, is pleased to announce auditions for their upcoming production of
NEXT TO NORMAL.  With book & Lyrics by Brian Yorkey & music by Tom Kitt,
this show tugs at your heart with fresh music and honest dialog.  The
Pulitzer Prize Board, in their award to this show, praised it as a powerful
musical that, ³grapples with mental illness in a suburban family and expands
the scope of subject matter for musicals².
 
Auditions will be held on:
> * Wednesday July 15th, 2015, 7pm
> * Thursday July 16th, 7pm
> * Sunday July 19th 2015, 2015 2pm
> * All auditions will be held at the Dutch Reformed Church, 88 Rt. 9H, in
> Claverack NY.
> * An accompanist will be provided, a capella auditioning is strongly
> discouraged!
> * Songs from the show or other appropriate songs are welcome. If from another
> show please bring a copy of the sheet music for the accompanist and clearly
> mark the 32 bar section you wish to use for auditioning.
> * Please come prepared to sing and move.

Performances are planned for early-October 2015 at the well-equipped
Performing Arts Center at Taconic Hills Schools. All roles are open except
the role of DIANA.  Musicians interested in playing this exciting score are
also encouraged to call or write.
