_A Midsummer Night’s Dream – A tale of mismatched love – human and fairie_

What could be more fun than sitting in a City park on a summer 
evening?The view takes your eye across the Hudson River to the foothills 
of the Berkshire’s, the marble temples of government to one side, 19^th 
century homes to the other. In front of you Puck, that mischievous 
sprite plays his tricks on fairies and humans alike.

Steamer No.10 is holding auditions for its production of *A Midsummer 
Night’s Dream* to be held in Albany’s Lincoln Park – August 7 to 9, 14 
to 16, and 21 to 23.

Students – Fairies and Lovers

June 7 from 6:pm to 7:30

June 11 from 5:30 to 7:pm

For anyone under 18, rehearsals will include vocal, movement, and acting 
training and instruction, which is covered by a $200 production 
fee.Scholarships are available.*__*

Auditions are held at the Steamer No.10 Theatre – 500 Western, Albany – 
parking across the street in the Citizens Bank parking lot.

Bring Head Shots and Resumes if available. No prepared monologues are 
necessary; everyone will be reading from sides.For further information:

_Roles include:_*__*

Puck – mischievous sprite who does Oberon’s bidding

Lovers – two male, two female – late teens or early twenties

Fairies – numerous – some with speaking roles, some without

Rude Mechanicals – four workers who go into the wood to rehearse a play 
for the Duke and are caught up in the machinations of the Fairies.

Duke – leader of Athens

Oberon – King of the Fairies

Tatiana – Queen of the Fairies
